The Peoples
Champion
Education
-Increase Teacher wages
-Reform Testing and Accountability
-Rework the Voucher program

Florida ranks 22nd in PreK-12 education in US News and World Report despite low standards for excellence. The network for Public Education ranks Florida last out of all 50 states due to higher privatisation, a lack of protections for homeschooled students, and poor conditions for teaching and learning. Average teacher pay ranks 49th while the qualifications to become a teacher are practically nonexistent. To solve these issues, we need to not only increase starting teacher pay, but increase pay for our experienced teachers as well. Without rewarding loyalty and experience, Florida will continue to lose its most qualified professionals and enable the constant teacher shortage.Â

Afordability

- Housing
- Renter Protections
- Protect Housing Trust Fund
- Caps on Utility Bills
- Insurance Reforms

The average first time home buyers are 40 years old. Young people are disenfranchised due to the affordability crisis. Republicans have dropped the ball and overseen high grocery prices, high gas prices, and high insurance prices. In order to tackle the crisis, we need to build affordable housing by increasing supply,
BAN AI Data Centers
-Destroys the environment
-Accelerates Climate Change
-Raises energy bills

There is no evidence to suggest Data Centers improve our lives in anyway. They strain the environment, drain electricity, use up all of the clean water, and do not bring in jobs. Furthermore, the cost of data centers are picked up by the consumer through higher energy bills and corporate tax breaks. Big business needs to pay their fare share.
BAN Flock Cameras
-Invasion of privacy
-Creates a surveillance state
-Stores your data which is sold off to corporations

AI surveillance will continue to invade our lives without intervention. No one wants big brother watching everything they do, so why should we have cameras on every street watching our every move?Â
Environment
-Invest in Clean Energy
-Stop Overdevelopment
-Increase protections for wetlands

Climate change is real and it is coming for us. We need to urgently address this problem or we will continue to have extreme weather, higher energy bills, and failing infrastructure. We need to stop overdevelopment, increase protections for the environment and pivot to clean energy before it is too late.Â
